Bicycle Repair Stations Built at 10 Locations

Aksaray Municipality has taken a new step towards reducing motorized transportation and increasing bicycle use in the city. For this purpose, many infrastructure, application and incentive projects have been implemented in Aksaray; Bicycle repair stations were placed on bicycle paths all around the city and at heavily used points of the city.

Mayor Dr. Since Evren Dinçer took office, many studies have been carried out to popularize the use of bicycles throughout the city. The bicycle festival was organized to raise awareness about the health benefits of bicycle use.

In addition to its awareness activities through festivals and events, Aksaray Municipality has implemented the smart bicycle stations and roads project. Within the scope of the project, where bicycle paths and stations were established in many parts of the city, new roads were built, while existing roads were included in the project and revised.

Mayor Dr., who works in line with the modern city identity with his innovative and nature-friendly projects. Evren Dinçer established bicycle repair stations in 10 points of the city. Bicycle repair stations, which bicycle users can use free of charge, were placed in Cumhuriyet District, Kılıçarslan Park Entrance, opposite Fatih District Sunday Market, in front of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital, on Ebulfeyz Elçibey Street, on Atatürk Boulevard, on a 30-meter road, in front of Aksaray Science Center, in 15 July National Will Square and inside Aksaray University.

Bicycle users will be able to make all kinds of precise adjustments of their bicycles, including Handlebar, Brake, Saddle, Basket and Gear adjustment, using the tools in the tool kit attached to stainless steel ropes at bicycle repair stations, where they can easily fix their malfunctions in adverse situations they encounter.  They will also be able to easily inflate their bicycle tires with the double-headed air pump with pressure indicator.
