Bicycle Maintenance Station in Lüleburgaz is in Service at LYBA

Lüleburgaz Municipality put the bicycle maintenance station into service at the Lüleburgaz Stars Bicycle Academy (LYBA) so that bicycle users can maintain their bicycles. Bicycle users will be able to perform many operations free of charge at bicycle maintenance stations.  

Another service that makes bicycle enthusiasts happy was implemented in the bicycle-friendly city Lüleburgaz. Lüleburgaz Municipality installed a bicycle maintenance station in LYBA, which is visited by thousands of people every year. About the operation of the very useful bicycle maintenance station, Lüleburgaz Mayor Dr. Murat Gerenli received information from the facility manager İnanç Zorlutuna.

18 transactions in one!

The bicycle maintenance station, which has a hanger where the bicycle can be easily hung and where bicycle users can perform a total of 18 operations at once, such as Allen key, Phillips screwdriver, tire inflation pump, has started to attract attention from bicycle enthusiasts. The maintenance station, where bicycle users start to maintain their bicycles free of charge, will be expanded to other parts of the city in the future.

The number of stations will increase

On the other hand, Mayor Gerenli received information about the bicycle maintenance station from Zorlutuna, the facility manager. Underlining that they will continue their work for a bicycle-friendly city, Mayor Gerenli said that the number of bicycle maintenance stations will increase in the future. Mayor Gerenli said, “We established our bicycle maintenance station in LYBA, which thousands of people benefit from every year. Our bicycle enthusiasts will now be able to maintain their bicycles here. We will increase the number of our maintenance stations in the future. “We will continue to work for the environmentally friendly bicycle city Lüleburgaz,” he said.

5 km bike path every year!

The bicycle path connecting the city center and Durak District, which was completed last year and has a length of 10.8 km round trip, will be officially opened for use in the 2023 summer season when TCDD completes the remaining point in the high-speed train line section. In addition, Lüleburgaz Municipality, which is advancing with the target of 5 km of bicycle paths every year, continues its bicycle path works in many parts of the city. Lüleburgaz Municipality aims to increase bicycle use and significantly reduce its carbon footprint with the bicycle paths it has implemented and will continue to implement.
